The shelter we support is a government owned facility. The funding they get is very limited and struggles to provide animals with basic needs such as vaccines, flea/tick prevention, deworming medications, and spay/neuters.

The shelter we support is a government owned facility. The funding they get is very limited and struggles to provide animals with basic needs such as vaccines, flea/tick prevention, deworming medications, and spay/neuters.
This facility is also linked to the county animal control, so when animals are seized from cruelty situations, hit by vehicles, or surrendered due to families unable to provide care, the shelter is required to take them as they are open intake.
With such limited funding and high intake volume, we are here to support those animals to prevent unnecessary euthanasia due to lack of money.
The director of the shelter and the president of "Friends of FCAS" have a strong relationship and share a passion for saving animals.
Thanks to them, hundreds of animals lives have been saved, and will continue to be saved with your support.

This beautiful girl started it all. She came into the shelter at 7 years old, after living her life on a chain. She was very shut down and misunderstood.
Stephanie built a special bond with Stiletto and knew she was meant to be her forever person. They did everything together, visited nursing homes, hospitals, schools, many events, etc.

This organization is meant to ensure we do everything we can to help the defenseless animals of the county in a way that honors Stiletto's memory.
Stiletto passed away at age 14 still as loving as the day Stephanie met her. May we all remember Stiletto and make sure we care for the animals of the county.

Every dog I have adopted has been amazing; they just needed the right family. Through the years I have learned what is needed in our community. Our shelter needs help desperately to care for the animals that come through their doors.
This organization was established to help make sure that we can provide basic medical care for our animals and ensure we are adopting out healthy and happy animals.
My goal is to have every animal spayed/neutered and microchipped before leaving the shelter. This will help with overpopulation and turnaround times for strays. I work 24hours a day, 365 days a year, networking with rescues to get animals to safe, loving homes.
